Microsoft has announced it will rework its reverse link lookup rules in the coming weeks, but users will still be able to see their friends’ links, like any other link.
The company first announced the changes back in December, and the change will go live in the next week.
Users who have already linked their friends will be able view their friends links in reverse, and users who are currently linking their friends can view their links.
This is in addition to the changes to the links they already see in the search results.
The company also said that people who have a “liked” link on their profile will be shown a similar feature in the future.
Microsoft will also re-examine its reverse links feature and add a second “Liked” button to its search results to highlight other links.
The update is coming to Windows Insiders on Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 and the next version of the OS is expected to launch in early February.
