Revo eZ Link, a site that allows users to share their thoughts and feelings about things that interest them, has created a video that discusses the importance of self-care.
The site describes itself as a “comfortable space for sharing personal thoughts” and notes that “you don’t have to be a professional to enjoy it.”
In the video, a woman in her late 20s explains that “in my mind, you can’t be a self-obsessed person and not do something positive.
There’s no shame in being aware of your body, feeling bad about your body.”
When she speaks about her body, she describes it as being “big, fat, strong, beautiful, strong.”
She also says that it is a “beautiful part of me,” and says that she “has to do more to look good” and “do something good to make myself feel good.”
“I just can’t let myself become self-involved,” she says.
“I’ve been so self-absorbed, so self obsessed.
I can’t do that anymore.”
The site notes that self-reflection is key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
It goes on to say that self care is about “becoming yourself and your own person.”
“Self-care is about getting out of your head, making yourself accountable, not being dependent on others,” it says.
When discussing self-consciousness, she adds that “it’s not about what you think, it’s about being honest with yourself and admitting to who you are.”
The video ends with her saying that “people are not necessarily better than others, but we can be better than those around us.”
