New England Patriots rookie Jimmy Garafolo got his first NFL snap in Sunday’s Week 7 win over the Washington Redskins.
The rookie threw for 157 yards and two touchdowns and also intercepted a Redskins pass.
But after the game, Garaflo told reporters, “We’re going to have to see how it goes.
If it goes well, I think it’s good.”
He added, “If it doesn’t, I’m not going to worry about it.”
The Patriots are 4-0 this season when Garafzo is the starter.
But the Patriots could be looking to start him this week against the Carolina Panthers.
Garaflin is tied for the team lead with six touchdowns this season.
Garoppalo threw for 733 yards and nine touchdowns last season.
In the Patriots’ first four games, he has thrown seven touchdown passes and no interceptions.
The Patriots lost to the New York Jets 24-17 in Week 2.
Garalflo also said he doesn’t plan on returning to the field in Week 8 against the Seattle Seahawks.
Garafavelo threw for more than 300 yards and three touchdowns in his first three games as a starter, and has been on the receiving end of six passes thrown his way.
He was inactive for the second straight game Sunday, but did return to practice for the first time in four days.
The third-round draft pick, 27, played in nine games for the Patriots in 2017, catching six passes for 74 yards.
He has nine touchdowns and three interceptions in 10 games.
